Interesting Tour, Terrific Guide!
Linda_B, 26-12-2022
This tour was a lovely little trip (5 hours) to a nearby town an hour away from Prague. Our guide was Veronica who was absolutely the best! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and constantly checked to see that everyone understood her and that everyone was enjoying themselves. All your guides should be as thoughtful and interesting as she was!! The small church and the ossuary were unique and nice to visit but St. Barbara’s Church was the best! Beautiful inside and out. Veronica’s encouraged questions and when she wasn’t sure if the answer—which rarely happened—she found out for us. Sergei the driver was quiet but a terrific driver, especially given that it was snowing on the return to Prague. All in all, it was an interesting tour, well worth the time and money. And if you are lucky enough to have Veronica as your guide, you will feel like you e made a new friend! Thanks, Veronica!!

Afternoon in Kutna Hora

We enjoyed our visit to Kutna Hora. Veronica was not extremely fluent in English but she did an above average job relating information and history. The ossuary was fantastic and the churches and city walk were frigid but enjoyable. Our one concern was that the driver wanted to drop us off afterwards at the city center instead of back at our hotel as stated on our ticket. It would have been a terrible experience as it was quite at walk after dark in the freezing weather. We did get him to take us to the hotel but we were worried before he agreed.

Bianca was an excellent guide , providing information not just about the sights but helping us understand the country and its background too. She also never laughed at our mispronunciations :)

The driver, Martin, was very good. The tour was average, if not slightly boring. The best part was the food at the end.
