Ever since we started the first food tours in Prague back in 2011, the idea has been simple. We take you to places you would not have found by yourself. We carefully choose delicious, authentic dishes and drinks you should not miss. And in the meantime we tell you things you could not google.

We could go on through all the clichés, the vistas, the traditions and hidden corners. But the fact is that we run this on empathy. We know how precious your vacation time is, so we will not waste it on second-rate food or experience. We will treat your vacation and trip to Prague as if it were our own.

So if you want to spend a few hours in the company of well-traveled locals who will serve you must-try foods and drinks and will not resort to tourist clichés because simply our conscience would not let us (and our Czech friends would eat us alive for it), we'll be happy to have you.

(Please inform us of your allergies and dietary restrictions in due time. Thank you!)

What's Included

All Fees and Taxes

As much as most people can handle.

Locally roasted specialty coffee is served at the end of the tour. You'll need it.

Non-alcoholic options are available if you'd like to skip on alcohol. But then again, why would you? You're on vacation, right?

The tour includes many tastings across several restaurants, which constitute a big meal. Although appetites can vary, most people cancel their dinner reservations after the tour if they have any.

The tour includes many tastings across several restaurants, which constitute a big meal. Although appetites can vary, most people leave the tour full and satisfied. Perhaps feeling a bit guilty.

Water is available in every stop on the tour. Bottled water is provided on hot days.

We're easy. Just ask. Sure, we'll hold your baby. Yes, we'll make that reservation. Etc.

What's Not Included

We're proud of the local things we serve. Your foreign cravings will not be included in the price.

What To Expect

Charles Bridge
Just kidding. You will not be seeing the Charles Bridge. No authentic food around it! (Okay, with one exception, but that's it!)

• Admission Ticket Free

Forum Karlin
We will be visiting the Karlin district, a formerly industrial, now gentrified neighborhood of Prague with young tech people and great food. Think Bushwick, Brooklyn. All the skinny jeans and facial hair you can handle!

• Admission Ticket Free

Wenceslas Square (Vaclavske namEsti)
Where social change happens. This avenue is central to Czech history, past and present. We will be finishing the tour very nearby.

Great experience!

We had a wonderful time and ate a lot of great food. Wish we did this our first day in Prague, but we're happy to have had the experience and learn about the culture and traditions behind some of the best food we've eaten. Thank you!
A must for any foodie!

We planned this tour on our first night in Prague which was great as we got to see parts of the city (even detour to the “Brooklyn” neighborhood) with a guide! Martin was super polite & very informative about the development & inspiration of Czech food due to their country’s history. Martin was sure to ensure any dietary restrictions were met & explained all the food & drinks. Yes, alcohol is part of the meal! This really gave us insight on the foods we liked & areas we wanted to revisit during the rest of our trip!
Do not miss this experience in Prague!

This was probably one of the best tours we have ever been on. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, experienced and a native of Prague with a perfect master of English which made it so easy for us first time visitors and non-Czech speakers to ask detailed questions and get clear answers. The food we tasted was spectacular and not your normal tourist-trap places. The history of each place was also explained to us. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague. And it’s 100% true that this tour will be the only meal(s) you will need that day!
Highlight of the trip

One of the highlights of our trip to Prague!

What a great experience - one of the highlights of our trip to Prague! Our guide Martin was informative and fun. Visiting some really cool restaurants (that we never would have happened upon by ourselves) and learning the stories behind the food and drinks (and the city) made for a wonderful evening.
